SUPER WEAK PHOTO ! This is a fine example of crappy sloppiness:

But what’s interesting is to be more after something like this:

This was back a few months ago after I got that 35mm Summicron. Since I’m personally against cropping any of my photos this image is relegated to the blog and not the portfolio. I’d rather work within the limitations of a certain focal length than think I could fix a picture by eliminating portions of it later. Respect for the Lens. But how this image above exists visually within that particular framing has as an idea pushed me more towards what it photographically suggests and formally demonstrates. Actually I’ve been some messing around (printing) photos shot with a vertical orientation of 35mm film. The ratio is a bit tall but something might be there. What’s next is further investigating pictures that are driven by the visual/spatial compression of longer focal lengths.

Non-ArtNerdSpeak would simply be “I’m going to be shooting with a 50mm lens for a while.”
