a Darkroom day

True: My show starts in one month.
Truer: I am 15 sheets short of Fuji Rembrandt G2 18×22 paper. Yodobashi said it should get in this week.
Truest: The trouble all along is that I was going about things the wrong way.
After talking things over with Onishi sensei last night at the Urayasu Photo Otsukare-Kai, I realized that pinning up the prints in one long line around the gallery would be lame. Onishi suggested taking a cue from the Urayasu show and print on several sizes of paper. My closet still had 20 sheets of unused 11×14s which today I spent the day printing with. Finished up with a few more 10×12 sheets, and hope that the variety in paper sizes will help dynamize the show. Physically hanging the work ought to be interesting. Before then I need to get to a rental darkroom in Yokohama to spend some quality time with a dry mount press to flatten the prints.
p.s. Digital Noize is just SICK.
