Taking pictures of places made to take pictures presents a problem. Meiji Mura is a collection of buildings set aside to serve as preservation of the past, but like photography the past that is presented is the result of selection and chance. The point (the game) is to subvert the particularity of the place with a general feeling of an experience which then is also about something in particular (my experience of that place).
Hunh?

Just click here: Meiji Mura

Only 10 of these pictures were actually taken at Meji Mura!

Over the weekend I also shot a few rolls of color film (35mm & 120) but the development will have to wait, seeing as how a bit of my next paycheck will go towards stocking up on whatever Polaroid 600 film there might still be out there for sale.
FUJI FILM PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS
