Today in Pictures: Some of my best friends are 7 years old & I got a Haircut.

Onishi sensei, Okabe, and I walked around Urayasu with some other photographers in the wind for a few hours on Sunday. We were scouting places for a large group photo exhibition sometime this August. The spots are great- and Urayasu is a place I will be shooting for the next couple of months with my Pentax 67.
A few digital pictures:

Saturday started out as the nicest all year, but then after some rain all of the sudden, and in the most inexplicably hardcore way the winds busted strong and gusty until sometime last night. This morning I found the little grasses that grew up between cracks frozen and dusted. It was really beautiful.

On the other side of the street is a half a mile & few acres of bare dirt, the top few centimeters of which is now all jammed in people’s cars and apartment doors up and down my block.
The view from my office window yesterday at around 2pm:

The winds came up so suddenly that the rugby and soccer teams were not able to come in off the field so they had to stand there for a while. I had never seen anything like this in Tokyo.
