Last Saturday I met Yasuhiko Uchihara to be interviewed for a web publication he contributes to, and this is how a lot of you folks (1000+ which is a first for one day) have ended up at this screen. You can see the article on DIGIKAME Watch: HERE.
Most people just find this site by typing “Domke F3″ into Google. (go ahead, try it)
Uchihara has a fantastic photo site called Son of a BIT that you ought to head over to and bookmark right now.
Thanks for the props Mr. Uchihara.

It has some scuffs and scrapes.
Had it looked over at the Nikon service center this summer because shots taken with my 40mm lens at f2 outside in bright sun (the AE was putting the shutter speed at 2000+) the right edge of each picture was a little darker than the rest. After testing all my lenses wide open at 1/2000 on a bright day, I found that it was worst (and not all that bad) with the 40mm at f2 and non-existent with the 28mm at 2.8 but slight with both the 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8. There have been no other issues with anything else about this camera.
If you want to always do beach photo shoots with a narrow depth of field, you might want to look at another camera but if you want a tough SLR for everything else let me know.
I love this camera, but it would be better if it were being used instead of sitting in a moisture proof plastic box.
Detailed Nikon F3P Info can be found here and here
BONUS: It comes with the Original F3P Back and a Normal F3 Back (for use without the motordrive)
There is so much out there about photography (too much, actually) and so I try to keep it down to these each day:

any other suggestions?
