  1. The first picture is one of your best that is explicitly about photography.

    We accept the reality of what is depicted in a photograph readily. The brokenness of the man at the bottom gives the game away. What of the man coming up the stairs? Is he _real_ or just another image? It doesn’t matter. Either way, he has the same visual relationship to the rest of the frame, taken from just that angle.
