Go Big Red (Ciefs)!

Filed under: japan, Nebraska — John @ 10:09 pm

So today in Shimokitazawa I saw this shirt in the window of a t-shirt store (called TEE-GO):

And I figured it was worth 990 yen to bring home a knock-off Nebraska shirt, complete with a stylized Indian head logo. I found one in XL size hanging on a rack, and next to it for reasons unknown, I also found this shirt:

All of the shirts in the store were made in Japan, many to look like vintage American school shirts. Now, Shimokitazawa is famous for all of it’s used clothes stores (Lincolnites, imagine the Ozone all over the place) and a few minutes before I found a Frontier Harley Davidson shirt (another Lincoln reference), but to come across a shirt with the name of the private Jesuit high school in Omaha Nebraska was odd to say the least.
It should be pointed out that this shirt is not actually available on Creighton Prep’s “Prep Gear” website.

Go CIEFS!
