I’m really interested in making photographs about photographing, and photographing life which for me is often about photographing.

One way I consider the importance of a film to myself is by how much I think about it after watching it.

And I kept thinking about Kung Pow quite often today. There are parts of this movie that are brilliantly funny, and then others that are just SO BAD (I am thinking about the cow fight here). But the brilliance of the Funny outweighs the awful. And even the bad parts are pretty good.

MAN !

What an ART FILM is how keep thinking about it. Mathew Barney films make me do this thing where I hit the back of my head against the seat in the theatre because they DO NOT END EVER (how you might feel when watching) But maybe I am just thinking of the one where the dude climbs across the top of a stage and M from the bond movies sings opera.
