WHAT ? ?

I can’t imagine a worse movie “about” Diane Arbus…

Check out the trailer for Fur

“Fur” looks so awful and removed from reality, I don’t know why they have to even call Nicole Kidman “Diane Arbus”. Maybe it is a good movie, but why not instead call the main character something like Nancy Frutensmith the Emo 50’s Woman Photographer?

Next year watch for “StreetTalk” featuring a witty & wacky Take No Lip from No One Chris Tucker as Garry Winogrand. Watch Garry work his smooth camera moves on the streets of San Francisco putting the focus on Looove to woo all the fine foxes. But when he inadvertently captures a drug deal gone bad with his Nikon D-200 watch out cuz’ the feathers and bullets are gonna fly as he tries to figure out the good cops from the bad on a whirl-wind around the world trip through the streets of Milan, Tokyo, London, and New York.

Special cameos by Steve Buscemi as Lee Friedlander, Jackie Chan as Henry Cartier Bresson, Matt Damon as Peter Beard, and Mr. T as himself.

Soundtrack mixed by Fatboy Slim featuring the new hit singles “Stay 0utta my 1ife” by Linkin Park, “Butt Out my bizzness, Bitch” by Limp Bizkit, and “Another Stupid Whiny Throaty Crappy Break-up Song” by Nickelback.

Man, I’m going to love StreetTalk.

  2. The more I think about it though, in all honesty Steve Buscemi would make a pretty good Lee Friedlander.

  3. I saw the trailer for “Fur” like two months ago. I thought it was the style that the specific film director goes for. When I read though that is an “imaginary portrait”, I knew that it was just fiction (I would hope). Though doing a google search on her photos and finding out what she looks like I think it is dangerous to to put her name in the credits. I think it should have been an made up name. And esspecially when they say her name incorrectly. from Wikipedia her name should be said as “Dee-ann”.
