I went to the dentist last week. The only way to keep a tooth from biting the inside of my cheek was to remove the offending molar. I was nervous, and I asked the dentist if I could hold my camera while he pulled my tooth. He looked suprised (raised eyebrows) but said Ok. So while he was pulling, I rotated the shutter speed dial and thought about what speed it was on. 1000, 500, 250, 125, 60, 30, 15, 8, 4, 2, 1….. and then back again. Soon it was over. If I have a camera with me I can feel focused. It helps out more than you folks know, tonight too.

In other photo news I am finally caught up on my film development- all 100 rolls have been developed and 23 are left to file and edit.
