  1. I have a number of pictures taken from exactly this angle, taken while standing in approximately the same place. But they all lack any sense of form.

  2. The shadow to the right, with part of my digital camera’s wrist strap, and that little space between the advance lever and body of the camera in my left hand make this work for me. Also, the shoes help.
