Atsuko Hirota: Traces

My friend Atsuko is having a photograph exhibition at the Up Field Gallery near the JR Suidobashi station here in Tokyo. If you get a chance, you ought to stop by and see some well done photographs.

The best word I can use to describe the exhibition was preponderant; this of course is my own interpretation of the art. I felt isolated while looking at the photographs, I felt isoltaed even though others were around me. I became transfixed; the isolation I felt was inspirational however; kind of the feeling when you dive too deep into art..and then realize you can keep going deeper..deeper into talents and thought patterns you never knew you had in you. Thinking back to the exhibition I could hear the note E played by a brass insturment..def..the sound of miles sutied with no other accompaniment…
smooth the exhibition was.
