Finally having a good enough reason to, I added another 2000 points to my yodobashi card with the purchase of a new easel on Sunday. This allows printing from the CENTER of a sheet of paper. The easels which are 1/4th the price only allow printing from the top left corner and they are flimsly contraptions which move around below the enlarger when you put in a new sheet of paper. My new friend here in the photo weighs a good 8 pounds and stays put.

man, this post has the best title.
Getting sick made me realize that it might be time to get insured. I got off easy this time- my fever was quelled with a packet of bitter powder and drinking my weight in pocari sweat. Insurance something that I have not had since I graduated from the university. I have heard that the national health insurance plan in Japan is great and covers almost everything, but the trade off is having to spend over 300 dollars a month on something with no immediate benefits. 30,000 yen is like… 100 rolls of film PLUS another 3000 points on my yodobashi card. Granted, if I got nudged far into a ditch by a car on the way home today that would pretty much be it for me. No amount of photography supplies could help me then, but in this case insurance would be a very good thing. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas feel free to hit the comment button and let me know.
No Mr. NHK man, I am not giving you any of my money. Had I opened the door just a second ago the probably the only thing you would have gone home would be this fever.
But, I like to watch “good morning Japan” and Project X. I guess this makes me a thief of some sort.
37.3C is apparently a fever. The school nurse said I can go home and that is good enough for me…
