I’m really interested in making photographs about photographing, and photographing life which for me is often about photographing.

Hi John, I can relate to the water issues. For a society that speaks so highly of "nature" you would think that water would be a reasonable request. I usually reconcile myself with some tea.
By the way, you wrote to me once on JapanPhotolist... shortly before it was moved.
I enjoy your blog...and would like to correspond if you have the time. And if you're ever down around Osaka, let me know.

Hi Justin-

Hisashiburi-
Thanks for the comment. I keep thinking of all of these american resturants with their massive glasses of water- usually as I am taking the second (and final) swallow from a small glass here. I am not a big fan of tea though. I think I ought to get used to it.

By the way, I like the ideas of making photographs of photographs like with the girl's face on your Nov 23rd daily photo.

I'd like to go to Osaka again sometime- I was there once for an afternoon..

email me sometime-- jvsypal@yahoo.com
