
That's a picture of the green onion field across the street from my apartment.
It is about 50 feet from the front door of my apartment, making it the spot that I will bolt out to when the expected big earthquake hits Tokyo. Ahem, I mean, Matsudo.
See, I tell everyone that I live in Tokyo (except for those who actually DO live in Tokyo) because that keeps things simple. Matsudo is what I'd consider a suburb of Tokyo--- The offical city boundary makes Matsudo roughly half the size of my hometown: Lincoln, Nebraska. The offical population of Matsudo (474,048) is similar to that of Omaha. Despite mathmatical figures that suggest otherwise, my neck of the woods is pretty comfortable. Just a little far from the station...
